Top Five Movies

So earlier this weekend I bought the 10th Anniversary Special Edition of Memento on Blu Ray. Now for those of you that have not seen Memento, go out and buy it. Guy Pearce is the main actor and he can not formulate new memories since an attack at his home that left him unconscious and killed his wife. So Pearce sets out to find his wife's killer, the problem is that about every 5 minutes he forgets what he is doing. It is truly a great movie, written and directed by Christopher and Jonathan Nolan. So the point of this post is that when I brought it home I told Keyona that it was one of my top 5 movies of all time. Now she says that I say that about every single movie I buy, so here it is folks my (Chris) top 5 movies of all time. These are in no particular order because these five movies are impossible to put into an order, know that they are just my top 5.

Memento
All The President's Men
The Big Lebowski
Dead Poets Society
Good Will Hunting

Each one of these movies are truly great, if you have not seen any of these movies go to your local movie store (Entertainmart I miss you so much!) and pick them up. They are older movies so they should not be terribly expensive.

Now Chris was totally surprised when I said I haven't seen any of his top five movies, so I guess its going to be a movie watching day! There are tons of movies that I love but when we were growing up there are a TON (I mean TONS)  that I've never seen. Back to the Future was a big deal. We bought it about a year ago and I love those movies! And never seeing Indiana Jones, kind of thought Chris was going to have a heart attack! (I've seen the third one  people so you can breath now!) It wasn't hard for me to choose my top five. There are movies that I watch and end up loving them but seems like nothing can beat my top five and maybe some of you will totally understand why.  Now, my (Keyona) top five movies isn't going to surprise anyone that truly knows me .  I'm a total girly girly so you probably have already figured out that most of my top 5 movies are  love stories! Just like Chris  I didn't put them in order but here they are.

Breakfast at Tiffany's
Serendipity
Breakfast Club
Footloose
The Notebook

Now what are you top 5 movies!! We would love to know!

  1. I love how diverse your selections are. What's cool about that is that when you make a post about a new movie you have seen, your followers get a much better understanding of what you already like :) Funny thing is- I agree with both of your lists. Can't wait for you next post.

P.S.- Memento is one of the best movies ever made.

  2. My top 5 list would probably make Chris scream out loud and wonder why he is my friend. Maybe I'll post it tomorrow after I think about it. ;)
